Uh...I'm not sure what happened, actually. I downloaded, (easily!), but whenever I opened, there was a pop-up error, and after going around it, I could go to the folders via Uranium, but when I clicked to open, another pop-up,and I couldn't. It wasn't any of my security, (I have quite a bit),as best I know, it was Windows. Anyway, I uninstalled, which was actually kind of weird too. I was a little scared there for a minute, but I guess I got it out. I see there's another link in your mail for failed downloads as well, I'll be glad to respond to it too.

Uranium Desktop Wallpaper

Every thing about your product went perfect:

The Download, installation, instructions and execution.

Simply downloaded your software. Told it what folder to pick up the wallpaper from, said do and it did. Using Windows XP. Works perfect. Changes my Desktop pictures every few minutes. Great product. Thank you very much.

I ended up uninstalling

I believe this was one of the wallpaper changers that I tried yesterday that didn't resize properly. I ended up very happy with Steve Murphy's Automatic Wallpaper Changer (AWC) http://awc.smurphy.co.uk/ which is also free.

Almost...

The tool was nice, but had 1 problem which caused me to deinstall it. It doesn't resize the pictures in the folder to the resolution of the c=screen. With this addes it would be nice. (especially on systems where the user doesn't have admin right and desktop settings are disabled)

Uranium desktop.

The program was good however, the killer for me was I could not find the size adjustments for the wallpapers. You can not adjust it from windows because it changes everytime the picture changes. If it is not in there you might want to add it because it killed it for me I found something better.

Fun Fun Fun

It's a nice program, very very easy to download, install, setup. My only problem was that you had to use images the size of your monitor, because there is no setting to change how the photos are set up, some become tiled and some are centered... That is my only problem.

Uranium Desktop review

I like your product but I probably won't use it due to 1 reason; it won't strech or center the images like windows will. The only option it seems to have is tileing the image so unless the image is exactly the right size, it doesn't look right.

Great Free Software

This program does for free what other programs will charge up to $20 for. I am so glad I found this program. The rotating wallpapers has become a conversation piece about my computer.

Not vista compatible

Needs all images in the right size, and auto image change does not work.
program was nigh impossible to uninstall requiring a edit of the registry.
DO NOT USE if you run vista.

Won`t uninstall

I installed it, didn't really like it (wouldn't fit my pictures to screen, stretched them all out) and couldn't figure out how to make it do what I wanted so I uninstalled it. It's gone off my program list, but it keeps changing my wallpaper, and no matter how many times I change it in my control panel, it always goes back.

Wonderful product.

Ever since I was referred to uranium desktop I haven't stopped using it. The ease of use and the flawless design make it a must have for computer owners. It's so easy to either set a group of wallpapers found of the internet or to set a group of pictures from my digital camera to cycle through. I also like how uranium doesn't slow down my computer like some of the others do. I would recommend this product to anyone!

Desktop Review

Normally I wouldn't follow up on these sorts of things but Uranium Desktop is great! I also have a Mac and have missed not having the ability to rotate backgrounds in Windows. Uranium Desktop does a great job of keeping the backgrounds colorful and seamless without hogging resources. I have experienced no noticeable lag with Uranium Desktop in the background. If you have a good collection of pictures or wallpapers, Uranium Desktop is way worth it!
